A quick all-kitten post while Franklin and Shelley are sleeping! Don’t tell them they aren’t “escorting” this photo series!

Our Stripey has fantastically long whiskers! We weighed the kittens a week ago and he is definitely the biggest. He weighs twice as much as his petite sisters Spooky and Moonpie, and he’s a pound more than Boss and two pounds more than Lynx.

I had a “sweeter” looking picture of Boss but I thought it was time to show his more serious side. He’s growing into a knowledgeable young cat who “studies”. In my opinion that’s why he’s so affectionate, because he is capable of looking deeply, reading the reactions on our faces, and therefore knowing us.

All the kittens love the spring and early summer sunshine. Moonpie is slowly becoming friendlier!

Boss and Lynx fluff
Often when Boss is parked on my lap, Lynx will jump up between me and his brother, to be closer to my face. Here you see Lynx fluff framing Boss. I also got floofed a little in the face that day! Lynx is turning into an ace photo-bomber!

I live near a creek in a forest, in close observation and awe of the wildlife outside, as well as the domestic animals of the household. I'm writer Leah T. Alford. They are all so beautiful. Stripey has a very similar nose to our departed Zhenny. A skink has moved into our garage and is keeping the pests down – I will have to name him…🦎

Thanks for updating us with such a healthy and wonderful group of cats. They all look like proper sweetie to me and I am happy that you are helping all of them including their kittens. I wish I could be surrounded with as many as 100 cats. There is a island in Japan where hundreds of cats simply hang out in the roads or street. Really peaceful and always make me happy. What a lot of sweeties! I love how you are knowing/learning the ‘purrsonalities’ of each one…I do believe you have fallen in love and will be a foster fail, yes?? MOL!

That is a lovely collection of kitties! Just how many do you have? They are all so gorgeously cute and happy!
The kitties and I thank you, Garfield Hug! We have these five who are from the one litter from a feral momcat (Groucho) we are feeding in the back yard of my late Mom’s house in town. Groucho’s now been spayed. And we have one cat at home, Franklin – we were going to be a one cat family but now we are crazy about the “kittens” (they are about 8 or 9 months); plus it’s hard to give away older kittens, and we don’t want to meet anyone due to Covid19 anyway. The kittens are in a room we keep as a work room to repair the house that was hit by a tornado in 2011, but we’ll eventually get them all in one house. And we feed the four ferals in the back yard, so that is indeed a lot of cats!
That is a lovely cat family in the making! Garfield hugs to all and I am sure you will have your hands full taking care of them till they are a tad older! Training and all! Thanks for sharing. Hope to see more photos of them. Take care and stay safe!
