Health matters and a long to-do list make me unable to fulfill the requirements of awards. I live near a creek in a forest, in close observation and awe of the wildlife outside, as well as the domestic animals of the household. I'm writer Leah T. Alford. I was "catwoods" on this site Catwoods Porch Party, Itchmo Forums for Cats and Dogs, and a few other sites that may or may not exist now. I have now published a book, and the publisher wanted it called Catwoods. I never expected the book title to be the same as my username, so for now I've changed the username to Leah. I think the Award thing is rather silly to be honest, Leah. I never get nominated!
I don’t think people are nominating like they used to, John, and that’s probably why you haven’t been nominated. Your photos and your presentation of them are obviously excellent! It was a nice way to promote interchange among bloggers but it I just didn’t have time or energy for it. I used to get some and had to decline and didn’t even really have time for that. So I put the page up.
BTW I’m sorry that your comment has not appeared on the present post. I had to scramble this afternoon and hit the publish button accidentally. So I had to disappear the post into trash for a few moments and then revive it via update. There are several comments in email notification including yours, that aren’t appearing on the blog. Aargh.

Thank you so much, Kerry, for your kind words. I’m so glad you enjoy the blog. I would really like to be more responsive to the wonderful blogging community than I can now, commenting on the blogs of others especially. However, I have some additional health matters to get through that will take an indefinite span of time.
I really empathize, as I would like to be proactive in following blogs and focus on my writing but I have to go with the flow of my health. Good luck with the health procedures and take all the time you need.
